April 19.
Indivisible Sonoma County: Step Up. Stand Up. Show Up.
This revolution is for us. For all of us.
No one left out. No one left behind.
Here’s how to show up:
Bring your signs, your U.S. flags, your cowbells, your drums—and your loudest voice for chants.
Bring your friends, your family, and your neighbors.
We will honor the 250th anniversary of April 19, 1775—when on the Common in Lexington, Massachusetts, the British Army and American militia faced off in the first battle of the Revolutionary War. We will walk from Juliard Park to Old Courthouse Square. We will hear from community members directly impacted by the dangerous decisions coming out of Washington DC and Wall Street. We will stand together, raising our voices for justice, and recommit to the fight for a democracy that serves all of us, not just the powerful few.
We welcome all to join us.
They can take their small, grubby hands off our democracy—the same democracy that was fought for on April 19.
Making Our Calls
Stop the Voter Suppression (aka “SAVE”) Act
This past week, the House passed what Republicans call the “SAVE” Act, legislation that would cause over 21 million Americans to LOSE their vote by imposing voting requirements that they cannot reasonably meet, even though they are fully eligible to vote. The act does this by stripping away the right to vote from anyone who can’t produce documents that millions of Americans don’t have, can’t afford, or struggle to access.
By the way, four House Democrats voted for the bill (which would have passed without their votes). Remember their names: Jared Golden, Marie Glusenkamp Perez, Henry Cuellar, and Ed Case all need to be primaried and replaced by Democrats who oppose, rather than enthusiastically support, fascism.
This week, the bill goes to the Senate, where it must be defeated. Senator Padilla has vowed to “lead the charge” to defeat the bill in the Senate. Democrats can do this by staying unified, since the filibuster will require a supermajority of votes for the legislation to pass. It will not be enough for either Padilla or Schiff to merely vote no. We also need them to pressure their colleagues to vote no as a unified block. No flinching, no defections.
Let’s make some calls.
CALL YOUR SENATORS: OPPOSE THE VOTER SUPPRESSION (aka “SAVE”) ACT
Please call your Senators and say:
I’m calling to ask the Senator to lead the charge to defeat the “SAVE” Act by not only voting no himself, but also by pressuring all of his Democratic colleagues to do the same. The caucus must stay unified and defeat the “SAVE” Act, which is pure MAGA voter suppression.
CALL YOUR SENATORS: PLEASE BE MORE LIKE CORY
Every senator has the power that Cory Booker used to disrupt the Senate.
Please call your Senators and say:
I’m calling to ask the Senator to finally be more like Cory Booker and vigorously disrupt Senate business. Tens of thousands of us are taking to the streets to save our country. The senator can step up, too. I want to be able to be as proud of my senator as I was of Cory.

Senator Adam Schiff

CALL YOUR MEMBERS OF CONGRESS: CALL FOR DONALD TRUMP’S IMPEACHMENT
Need we say why?
Please call your Congressmember and say:
I’m calling to ask the Congressmember to publicly call for the impeachment of President Donald Trump.
Congressman Jared Huffman

Congressman Mike Thompson

CALL YOUR STATE LEGISLATORS: DON’T vBREAK THE SOLAR CONTRACT
Governor Newsom's CPUC has proposed to break the solar contracts, slash the solar credits, and slap with a solar tax all of the solar customers who signed up for solar before April 2023 (NEM1 and NEM2). Our best chance of stopping this proposal is to make it Dead On Arrival in the State Legislature.
Please call your state legislators and say:
Please oppose the CPUC’s proposal to break two million solar contracts.
The root cause of high rates is utility spending and profits, not rooftop solar. Rooftop solar saved all ratepayers $1.5 billion in 2024 by reducing utility spending. It is part of the solution.
Stop blaming consumers who are doing the right thing. Please get real about controlling utility spending, and don’t break the solar contract.

The Reality of Project 2025 w/ Rep. Jasmine Crockett and Heather Cox Richardson
Mon, Apr 14, 2025 4:00pm - 5:00pm | US/Pacific
Join Red, Wine and Blue on the two-year anniversary of Project 2025’s launch for can’t-miss conversations with two of our favorite BADASS women—historian Heather Cox Richardson and Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett. This moment isn’t just about understanding the threat—it’s about how we fight back with everything we’ve got. Project 2025 is no longer just a radical plan on paper. Its ideas are already surfacing in Trump’s policies and shaping the agenda of extremist lawmakers. This event will break down exactly how Project 2025 is being implemented—and more importantly, what you can do about it.
Learn about our new first-of-its-kind tracking tool to help you keep up with how Project 2025 is being implemented and how it is impacting your family and your community. It's time to get loud and spread the word. We will fight back: together!

Welcome! You are invited to join a webinar: What’s the Plan? A Weekly Discussion with Indivisible’s Co-Founders.. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email about joining the webinar.
The onslaught of news, the chaos coming out of the White House – it’s all meant to overwhelm us. It’s a deliberate strategy to sow confusion and make us believe we are powerless to fight back. The antidote: Coming together in the community to process what’s happening, to sift through what’s important and what’s just noise, and coalesce around strategies for fighting back.
Join Indivisible co-founders Leah Greenberg and Ezra Levin each week, as we carve out an hour to discuss what’s happening and – more importantly – what’s the plan.
