Juilliard Park to Old Courthouse Square

250 years ago, facing a different ocean, a people joined together against a government they found had become a tyranny. One that broke with historic norms and discarded hard-won rights; that disregarded the letter of the law, that enforced the law arbitrarily, and that applied the law unequally. We call this moment the beginning of the American Revolution.

Well, we’re not firing any weapons but our wit and charm and determination.

Every skill and all our fierceness, our empathy and ability to organize — these are the weapons we use and the strengths we bring to the battle before us.

And we have plenty of all of that.
